Worship Arts Ministry

The Community Bible Church Worship Arts ministry blends the talents of five teams to help present the message of God’s love and Christ’s sacrifice in creative and innovative ways. We desire an “unquenchable, unstoppable, undignified, and undone” style of worship–one that truly reflects our love and gratitude for our Savior.

Praise Band and Singers - This team leads worship through music during our 3 major Sunday morning worship services. People on this team audition for a position as an instrumentalist or singer and must demonstrate profficiency in their art prior to being placed on the team.

Creative Arts Team - This team brainstorms creative ideas for worship services using audio-visual media, drama, music, etc in their planning. Individuals on this team must be innovative and be willing to “think outside the box” as they program future worship services.

Drama Team - This team is filled with individuals who have demonstrated profficiency in acting to present and enhance the central theme of the weekly message. Individuals seeking to be on this team, must audition for parts prior to performance.

Technical Team - This team of individuals helps the praise team, drama team and creative arts teams carry out their programs by using technology to present the services. They have been trained on using the sound system, projection devices, and the computer as forms of presentation.

Worship Choir - This is a developing team which utilizes the skills of individuals profficient at reading music to present a message in music for special services and special musical numbers.
