Bill Hillegonds

Bill Hillegonds has been involved in Youth Ministry for over twenty years and 2008 marks the beginning of his eleventh year as a full time staff member at CBC. His wife, Shelly, plays a key role with him in the ministry. Bill & Shelly have two daughters, Amber & Taylor. Amber is a nurse practitioner who lives in Casselberry, Florida with her husband Jerry Kaufman. Taylor attends Hanover Central High School and enjoys sports, music and hanging out with friends and family.
Bill and Shelly have a passion to see students grow in the love and grace of Jesus Christ. They love teenagers because of their transparancy and willingness to serve the Lord. Their desire is to create space at CBC so that every teenager in the surrounding area, regardless of lifestyle or past failures would feel welcome. They know that it’s not up to them to “change” students, but instead to show the love of Christ and allow God to do the transforming.
